Educational Background
Professor Wang received his Ph.D. in Engineering Systems at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005.
Experience
Prior to joining SAIF, he was Executive Director of the Commodity Desk
in China International Capital Corporation. He has also worked in Morgan
Stanley as Associate in the Fixed Income Division.
Honors / Achievements
Professor Wang’s publications have appeared on International Trade, Behavioral Science, Technology Guide and other top journals in China. He and the co-author Richard de
Neufville presented “Identification of Real Options ‘in’ Projects” at
the Sixteenth Annual International Symposium of the International
Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and won the 2006 Best Paper
Award. Professor Wang also provides consultancy to government and
corporations. He has been standing on the SASAC committee granting
licenses to SOEs for derivatives trading.
